What girl doesn't love dresses?! Recently via social media, I stumbled across the amazing fashion designer, Ziad Nakad. His dresses are absolutely amazing! I love how exquisite each and every gown is. The gowns are not only feminine, but they are glamorous, chic, beautiful, unique, colorful, form-accentuating, and show stopping. Below are some of my favorites, featured in Ziad Nakad's Fall/Winter 2014 collection. Which one is your favorite?!

(Every dress available on www.ziadnakad.com).

Post-Holiday Shopping & An Announcement!

Since I had received multiple gift cards in the mail, I decided to check out the local mall. Thank god I did! The stores had crazy good sales, so obviously, why not use my cards? I mean come on, what's better than a good sale? Below are my purchases from my shopping trip, which I broke up into three sections, based on the store that they were bought.

VICTORIA'S SECRET: leopard print ultimate yoga leggings (on sale for $35.99, with an extra 40% off for the semi-annual sale)

VICTORIA'S SECRET: leopard print ultimate yoga leggings, VS PINK (on sale for $35.99, with an extra 40% off for the semi-annual sale)

Let's just say I'm very excited to wear these babies! Though I love Victoria's Secret, many of their clothes are a bit pricey. So when I saw these leggings, I had to get them! They're perfect for my workouts! Plus, I love leopard print!!!

BATH AND BODY WORKS: 5 hand sanitizers, a hand sanitizer holder, endless weekend body cream, and sunset by the pool body lotion

I loveeee lotion, and I love B&BW's semi-annual sale! The lotion and body cream were 75% off! They smell amazing and I can't wait to use them! Hand sanitizers are always needed, so of course I had to pick some of those up!

MAURICE'S: a bracelet/arm cuff (adjustable), a chunky fashion ring, and a layered necklace

I'm a jewelry aficionado, so even though I went to Maurice's originally to get clothes, I decided for jewelry. I can't to wear these beautiful pieces! I love the necklace, and the fact that the bracelet is adjustable is perfect! Fashion rings are my favorite, so I especially love this baby!

I didn't buy this, but how awesome are my brother and his fiancé, Stephanie?! They bought me this gorgeous arm/wrist cuff down in Mexico, and I just had to share!

***ANNOUNCEMENT***

Due to the cold temperatures here in Wisconsin, and the fact that my photographer and I didn't have time to do outfit shoots at all yet, Lilacs&Lace will be going on a bit of an outfit posting hiatus! I will try to keep posting and please bear with me! I promise that I will post another outfit post when I can!

Xoxo, Cassy

Call me depressing, but I have ALOT of black clothes in my closet. I don't know why, but I think the colors black and gray are not only flattering to wear, but they are also very classy. For this post, I decided to feature a monochromatic outfit featuring black and gray. I love this look because the shirt is a bit more dressy, but the jeans help dress it down. Plus, I love booties, and how cute are these frilly ones?!

Shirt: bedazzled

I must say, this year, the fair isle style of clothing has really become a trend! Since it's Christmas, I thought I'd post about this newest (and adorable) trend! For this blog post, I decided to feature a bright fall staple: a long cardigan. I loved this cardigan (plus it was on sale!) and the pattern just drew me in. As I said before, it was bright, and in case you haven't noticed, I'm a big fan of patterns, especially Aztec or tribal prints. Plus, it's colors just scream fall, and it's thicker for the colder temperatures. I think it adds a lot of edge with it being sleeveless! Top off a fall outfit with some cute knee-high boots and some comfy boot socks, and you'll be set!

**OUTFIT DETAILS**

Cardigan: printed cardigan, Vanity (old) // shirt: long sleeve shirt, Wet Seal (on sale, available here: www.wetseal.com/solid-v-neck-long-sleeve-tee-50814282.html#start=50&sz=36) // leggings: basic black leggings (old) // socks: cream colored boot socks, Vanity (available here: www.vanity.com/marked-boot-socks/G145014AM/d) // boots: gray Raven Tail boots, Payless (available here: https://m.payless.com/search/75159.html)

Happy post-Thanksgiving everyone! I hope you all are over your food comas brought on by feasting yesterday!

Today, for my blog post, I decided to add a little musical element to it. I have always been raised on rock 'n roll music. From Led Zepplin to Breaking Benjamin, I've been listening to it all from when I can remember to today. Despite this, I own only about 4 band shirts total. When I saw this shirt while shopping one day, I knew I had to have it. I'm slowly starting to get back into the color pink, and Guns 'N Roses is definitely one of the staple 80's bands I listen to. To add a little flare, I paired it with this gypsy, almost bohemian-style cardigan that I discovered while doing some online shopping! I love it's lace and hole patterns, and it's super light, perfect for the spring, summer, or early fall!

Rock on, everyone!

Top: Guns 'N Roses sleeveless top, Wet Seal (similar here: http://www.wetseal.com/guns-n%27-roses-crop-tank-50175727.html#start=400&sz=36) // Cardigan: black gypsy-style short-sleeved cardigan, Free People (www.freepeople.com) // Jeans: dark wash distressed jeans, Hollister // Boots: black wedge heels, ChicWish

If you know me, you know one of my favorite patterns is cheetah print. I love how cute a fun the print is, it can add a good touch to any outfit! When I saw this black shirt with a cheetah print bow on back on the app "Wish", I was so excited, it practically bought itself! Throw on some jeans and boots, and you're ready for the day!
