Makeup has always been a need for women. It has been used for years, but many women don't know what makeup they should wear, which does lead to possible fashion mishaps. So, to help combat that, I decided to highlight my makeup must-haves in this post.
1. Maybelline Mascara
I love Maybelline's products, I even have most of them in my makeup collection! What I like about their mascara is it is very light, it makes your eyelashes look longer and fuller, and it doesn't clump.
2. Revlon Lash Potion Mascara
Though not the cheapest, Revlon's Lash Potion is such a great product! It makes your lashes look healthy, and really makes them pop. Plus, let's be honest, it has the coolest bottle I've seen for mascara.
3. Victoria's Secret Bronzer
This is definitely NOT the cheapest Bronzer you could find, but it's my favorite. This Bronzer lotion/beads adds a natural, more ran color to your skin, and makes it look gorgeous. It even has a bit of glitter in it, which really adds to the appearance and gives it a fun twist.
4. L.A. Colors Blush
Okay, so when it comes to blush, I'm not only cheap, but I'm also not very picky. I really liked this blush because it looked very good on my olive skin tone, and it added some color to my face that (unfortunately) my foundation doesn't provide.
5. Hard Candy Eyeshadow
Once again, not one of the cheapest makeup products, but it's my favorite (besides Urban Decay). Hard Candy's eyeshadows are very unique, and they really help tie together my makeup. I personally own the blue and pink palettes, but I would definitely buy the others in the future. Like the Bronzer, it has a little bit of glitter in it as well.
6. L'oreal British Red Lipstick
I have always been a fan of the boldness of red lipstick, and when I saw this lipstick, I knew I had to have it. It's very bright, but it really adds a nice vintage and bold flare to your look.
7. Maybelline Unstoppable Eyeliner
Most people use the pencils, but I'm not really a fan of them. I really like this eyeliner because it is the perfect width that doesn't make it look like you took a crayon to your eye, and it goes on very smoothly. Plus, it gives you the convenience of not having to sharpen it.
8. Covergirl Trublend 15 Foundation
For me, foundation is an absolute MUST. I love Covergirl's Trublend 15 foundation. It blends well with my skin tone (olive), covers up any blemishes, and, most importantly, it makes my skin feel very light and comfortable.
Makeup can be complicated, but it can really help boost anyone's self-esteem, while still allowing us to express ourselves in an artistic way. Good luck on your search for the perfect makeup products, and remember to find what's best for you!
